Welcome to the website of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

NSVTU is part of Trout Unlimited, a national organization dedicated to the preservation of cold-water fisheries and watersheds.

Located in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, our area has some of the Mid-Atlantic States’ premier trout fisheries. These include trout streams in the northern part of the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest. Local trout streams feed the Shenandoah River system – a premier warm water fishery – that flows through the heart of NSVTU’s area.

Most NSVTU meetings are held in Front Royal on the second Wednesday of each month, year ‘round. Because our Chapter area includes Warren, Shenandoah, Page and part of Rappahannock County, we rotate many of our meetings among other local towns.
